中國人民大學出版社成立于1955年,是中華人民共和國成立后建立的第一家大學出版社。作為中國最重要的高校教材和學術著作出版基地,人大出版社始終秉承“出教材學術精品,育人文社科英才”的出版理念,實施精品戰略,建社60多年來已累計出書兩萬五千余種,出版了一大批具有文明傳播、文化累積價值的優秀教材和學術著作。新世紀以來,人大出版社的優秀出版物獲得省部級以上獎項500多項,是榮獲國家級獎項最多的出版社之一。作為集圖書、音像、電子、網絡和數字出版物等跨媒體經營的大型綜合性出版社,人大出版社已成為我國哲學社會科學出版的重鎮和旗艦。
多年來,人大出版社致力于搭建國際文化交流平臺,極大推動了中外學術文化交流。以高端學術著作國際出版為特色,截至目前,人大出版社已累計輸出圖書版權2200余種,涉及20多個語種,與30多個國家和地區的百余家出版機構建立了合作伙伴關系,并在以色列、羅馬尼亞、蒙古設立海外分支機構,有效推動中國文化走出去。通過搭建國際出版平臺,人大出版社傾力打造國家出版名片,努力講好中國故事、傳播好中國聲音、闡釋好中國特色,不斷增強中國文化國際傳播的軟實力。
China Renmin University Press (hereinafter as “CRUP”) was established in 1955, which was the first university press since the foundation of People’s Republic of China. As China’s most important publishing base of textbooks and academic works, CRUP has been following the idea of “publishing outstanding academic books and textbooks and fostering talents in humanities and social sciences”. It has published over 25,000 kinds of outstanding textbooks and academic works with cultural communication and accumulation value through 60 years’ untiringly hard work. Since 21st century, CRUP has been granted over 500 awards of provincial and national level, which makes it one of the Chinese publishing houses awarded with the most national rewards. As a large-sized comprehensive press providing books, audio and video products, electronic and internet services and digital publications, CRUP has become the publishing base and flagship of humanities & social sciences in China.
For years, CRUP has committed itself in building an international platform of cultural exchanges, which actively promotes Sino-foreign academic and cultural communication. With its brand of high-end outstanding academic works, CRUP has exported over 2,200 copyrights with more than 20 language versions, collaborated with hundreds of publishing houses in over 30 nations and regions, and established overseas branches in Israel, Romania and Mongolia, efficiently pushing forward Chinese culture’s “going out”. Through the effort of building international publishing platform, CRUP strives to build its national publishing brand, to tell good stories of China, to make China’s voice heard and to elaborate China’s characteristics, in order to continuously strengthen China’s soft power of international communication of Chinese culture.
